Clever with a Needle

Today I’ve been trying to get some swaps finished, and stitched up a bag for my other pin-up girls partner, and put my first glamour girl embroidery as an applique on the front.  I’ve also wrapped up a big swap that I owe Gigi and have been working on Lucky Parcels ornaments, and birds. 

Birthday dinner for mother-in-law has been postponed due to sister-in-law’s illness, so the undecorated cake is sitting there looking at me.  HP said “Don’t be disappointed, I’ll be happy to eat it.”  So I think I’ll make today’s creative shot putting some pink butter icing and something cute on top of ex-birthday cake.  I might even give the ol’ piping bag a whirl.

Tonight I also have to finish stitching for my tea parings partner…sorry the posts are so dull, but I’ll upload some pics tomorrow when I’m back at work.  My home computer has spat the dummy and isn’t talking to the camera at the moment. (updated to add pics)
