Clever with a Needle

We all know e-bay is dangerous, both for sucking up our time and money…but you can get such fun stuff in return! Lately I’ve been browsing a bit, as I’m trying to get some issues of The Modern Priscilla from the 20s and 30s, as well as any pre-1960 copies of the Australian Home Journal. But I refuse to pay ridiculous prices for everything! And one seller I saw that had some Priscillas for sale wanted $30 US to post them to Australia. Excuse me, but that’s ridiculous!! I considered writing and telling them so, but hey, I suppose it’s their perogative and I can only vote with my feet.

And for some reason, along with bidding on a few mags, I bought this litle workbasket:

It just looked so terribly sweet. See what I mean about e-bay being bad for me?
